Instead of waking up to a long commute in the morning you will be stepping into the water in your kayak to lead and engage people who are out to experience British Columbia's natural beauty in a healthy and exhilirating way. We are always looking for experienced staff at North Shore Kayaks. Our 2009 season is quickly approaching and we will be hiring guides, trip photographers, cooks and musicians.
Guides: We are always looking for experienced, certified and laid-back guides with a passion for kayaking and a love of the outdoors.
Cooks, Musicians and Trip Photographers: We hire photographers, cooks and musicians on a trip by trip basis. If you are enthusiastic about the outdoors, client-oriented and have always wanted to go on a multi-day kayak trip this is a great opportunity to do so.
Other Desired Qualifications
- Must have a positive attitude
- Organizational skills - especially for the cooks!
- Team players - must help with tasks outside your job description
- Must be conscientious of our guests and employees
- Respectable appearance
- Must LOVE the outdoors and care about the environment
- Must be enthusiastic about the trip
- Must value safety and environmental ethics
